Food was pretty good. Flavors were on point. Spicy levels a bit higher than expected. Luckily the glass cups are really big and a necessity with spicy food. Place offers some Chinese dishes as well, but only tried the Thai dishes so far.
MoreHavent been in years, and it's just like I remember, fresh, delicious food served by friendly smiling faces a must stop if you're in palm springs!
MoreOutstanding service. Very friendly. Best Thai food Ive ever had-wonderful!
Stopped in for a quick lunch while in the area. Place was packed which is always a good sign. Staff was friendly and service was quick and efficient. Ordered a couple of items and both were good dishes, standard Thai spices. I've eaten a lot of Thai food and this was good, not great. You won't be blown away but you will get a good meal. I would come back.UPDATE: I will not be back to this place. After I wrote the review above, I ended up with diarrhea for almost 4 days. I didn't eat anything other than a bagel and coffee before. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and think that may have done it as the shrimp was not fully cooked. Or didn't feel like it was. So yeah, after sitting on the toilet for 4 days straight, I will not be eating here again.
MoreFriendly service. Great food. We ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, red and yellow curry, and chicken cashew nut. Everything was delicious. Definitely will come back.
MoreWe went for dinner. First time coming to this restaurant. Service was on point. Waiter would come over often asking if we needed anything else. Food was tasty. Veggies were fresh. Rice was perfect. Recommend this place 100%
MoreThe tofu in all of their dishes is well prepared.
The food was delicious but unfortunately we had a hair in the soup. Can happen. The service was nice and friendly
MoreLoved this restaurant! Incredible food - among my top 5 meals of 2019. Everyone in my party of four agreed. Also, the service is fast and all staff were friendly and helpful!
MoreBest Thai place in town. Love their lunch menu card. Nicely priced and excellent food quality. Their Red curry is great as are their rolls.
MoreFood was delicious!! And fantastic service
Wonderful service with delicious food and specialty cocktails. Come early for happy hour when the cocktails are half price! I had the green curry (mild) with chicken. The Mango Sticky Rice cocktail was delicious. A companion had the green curry with chicken medium spice and took the heat up with various additions brought to the table. Friends who had the Pad Thai with tofu and Masaman Curry also raved.
MoreDelicious. Had the Penang curry and garlic chicken. Their Penang curry takes the cake. I’ve had almost every Thai curry in San Diego and it blows them ALL out of the water. Well done Thai Smile! 😍
MoreThis place is way too over priced for the food portion. Food is DIRTY. Taste too salty and sweet. It was hard to chew on more than 3 bites. It would’ve been okay if the food taste good but it was just horrible. It was TERRIBLE... Staffs don’t really take care of the table either. We left the whole dish after few bites. One of the dish we had to send it back cause they cooked it over the dirty pan, the food smelled like the burnt pan. Waitstaff didn’t even asked what was wrong. I can tell this place only surviving here because its tourist area. If you really love thai food and know what taste good save your money and go somewhere else.
MoreI love this place! I can go there every week and I would never get tired of it! My favorite plate is the chicken yellow curry. They have the best curry! They have a dessert that I don't remember the name of it but it is fried bananas with coconut and they serve it with ice cream. OMG! Just writing about it makes me want to go there right know! The owners are always there to make sure their customer service is great as well. Amazing place and food!!!
MoreFresh excellent Thai everything is crisp and delicious! Fast service and wide variety menu.
MoreBest Thai food for miles! A must visit every stop in PS. You wont regret it. Great food, great prices, great staff.
MoreSecond time here.. Delicious food, great drinks! Excellent service, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice outdoor seating, great for people watching. The Mongolian Beef and Sweet & Sour Chicken was absolutely delicious!! Keep up the good work
MoreVery good Thai food in Palm Springs. Outdoor and indoor seating areas. Outdoor space is heated and makes for a nice dinning space. Appetizer sampler is a great starter for the table. I had the screaming duck. Very good. Big enough for two or left overs. You have to try the the blueberry Martini. Perfect cocktail to go with diner. Also recommend the pad Thai. Can be a 20-30min wait on weekends.
MoreDon't go! I want it all to myself! I will seriously mess you up if you're in my bar seat! I'm not kidding it's too good for you. You don't deserve it!
MoreThis restaurant has a great atmosphere and great food. Thd have indoor and outdoor seating which is great in the summer or winter. The yellow curry is excellent.
MoreFlavorful & fresh Thai food. Good service and a great deal for lunch specials too!
MoreIt’s our first stop after almost 2 hours of drive. My hubby and I wanted something simple and so we decided to go for Thai. The decors of the restaurant were special. We particularly liked the bamboo designs. Service was good as well. Very friendly.Food wise, a bit mediocre. The lunch set Salad and sweet and sour soup were delicious. Just that we were not particularly impressed by the main that we ordered. The red curry was quite watery. It said it’s their house recipe and so I guess it’s the style they prefer. Personally prefer more spicy kick red curry. My hubby ordered Pad Thai. The noodles were harder than usual, probably undercooked. The spring roll was very fresh and crispy though. Overall, it’s an okay restaurant with reasonable price. Nothing spectacular. Would be great if they could improve the overall quality of the food.
MoreVegetarian spice lovers' paradise. Delicious food, prompt and attentive service. Could not ask for more! Loved the red curry with tofu. The ambience was great too; sitting outside near the warmer. Truly all left with smiles. Would definitely return if we are ever back in town.
MoreThis is our 2nd trip here. We weren't disappointed. Excellent food and food was served quickly. A must eat for Thai in PS!
MoreLove the place with delicious food, tea and good service... family atmosphere.
This place is a must try. Not only is their food great but their staff are very polite and courteous.
MoreAt the first moment you come to this restaurant the stuff gives you an excellent feeling. Very warm stuff, it is a friendly restaurant to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. heavenly meals, specialist chef de cuisine, reasonable pay and nice service. Warmly recommended.
MoreGreat service and super friendly! They let me order to go before closing and I just had to leave this review! Very nice reception and very clean and cozy decor. Will definitely be back ❤👌#excellence
MoreAverage Thai food with quick service. Location is good, right near Hilton for a quick meal. Diner like ambiance.
MoreOne thing I love learned about Thai restaurants is this. Their menus are always different. I've never seen a consistent menu with a Thai restaurant. The good ones I have really been to our in the West side of Los Angeles. But I have yet to find one as good as they are in the Inland Empire.
MoreVery cozy, clean and friendly. Staff was excellent, gave us a family feel from the first moment. Then there was the food!! I cannot even say enough, delicious and fresh.Would recommend to anyone in the area, on business, travel or hosting guests.
MoreGreat food and good service. They are accommodating of vegans/vegetarians
It has a relaxing and serene ambiance, making you feel like you entered another world. The servers and bartender are friendly, attentive, personable, patient, efficient, and overall extravagant. Now I came here to celebrate my eldest sons permit test completion, the food was phenomenal. It was an excellent choice of dining at this lovely establishment. I will be coming back to indulge another fantastic meal.
MoreGreat place for Al Fresco dining. The veggie dumplings are a great starter and the Pad Thai noodles are a must. Sticky mango pudding really finished the experience off nicely. If you go later at night you can look across the street and take in a free show from the large windows of Oscar’s!
MoreGood lunch specials that are generous and tasty, but lacking a bit of authenticity when compared to some hole-in-the-wall options I've experienced. Everything was a bit one-note - sweet peanut sauces and curries without the chili and lime that balances out the flavors. If you're hungry for some Thai, it will fill you up, but you might walk away wanting a bit more flavor. The tea that they served with the meal was unique and delicious - like Thai tea without the cream and sugar - so that was a new experience I really appreciated.
MoreHow about a frown…Food here was laden with MSG and that inexplicable 1970s mystery American Chinese brown sauce...
MoreAbsolutely delicious! The pad see ew is to die for and the prik king is a definite must try. Great service as well, we'll be back!
MoreGreat service and food, wait staff were very respectful and accommodating.. the food was delicious..
MoreHands down food was great. The Pad Thai and Broccoli was Exquisite. Their house salad was great and the chicken soup was great.
MoreWe all really enjoyed our meals. The ingredients we're fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. The iced tea was the real deal too. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. It was a perfect stop for lunch, and we definitely will return again.
MoreGood location on street corner around downtown Palm Springs, especially for outside dining & people watching. However, service only minimally personal and friendly. The 2-star mainly due to no real bread or pre-app. prior to appetizer / meal and to accompany meal. Seemed like something was missing. Finally, the main course itself (have dined at Thai Smile twice this past 6 months) was nothing at all special, just slightly below average and not worth a third try. In a word: Thai Smile seems highly over-rated to me.
MoreI know Thai Smile is not new to the area but the food is sooooo good EVERYONE should go there 💛💛💛Inferno Noodles with chicken. The Hot Pot is my second favorite. I could literally eat it everyday. My daughter love the salad with the Peanut dressing.
MoreWe stopped in Thai Smile for lunch and enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Their lunch menu has a nice variety of dishes with your choice of protein, rice, salad or soup, and iced tea. The side salad was unassuming but I thought the peanut dressing was sweet and yummy. I usually stay away from caffeine but I loved their iced tea; it tasted freshly brewed and was a delightful blend.
MoreDelicious food and generous portions! First time there but will return with friends. So good to have this restaurant in PS. Great staff too....Thank You.
MoreQuickly accommodated our group of 10. We had their lunch specials which come with a hot and sour soup or salad with peanut dressing. I got the Inferno noodles which came spicy and with a side of rice. The noodle was firm to the bite. The soup was probably my favorite part. My other friends Got the pad Thai and it was very tangy. We did not have to add lime to it. Great deals and delicious food. Not the best Thai I've had, but it was decent for Palm springs.
MoreGreat food. The yellow curry with fried tofu was spot on. Great taste and spice.
My experience was completely different from all the other reviews. The service was poor, waited at least 10 min before some one came to check on us and ask us for our drink order. Food was subpar. Ordered soup which did not resemble what was on the menu. He took back to replace it, not sure if we got new soup or if they just dumped coconut milk in the old soup. Ambience is pretty lacking as well. So many other better Thai restaurants out there
MoreGreat food and wonderful service. We were in Palm springs for four days, and ate here twice because we liked it so much.
